With that, another pageview milestone is reached. I haven't posted these for years but this just seemed appropriate.

And like all good celebrations, this absolutely requires another jpg artifact shit- erm, sprite dump. The left half is more custom Mario sprites while on the right are a couple of the element/status icons from my in-development game Foregone Guardians.

Hat's off to :iconsacreddragon: for catching it, and I'd like to express my thanks to everyone who has visited my page and liked my doodles. Despite what some of my past journal entries might lead one to believe, I've mostly enjoyed my stay at deviantART so far. The road's been bumpy, but I'm still on the passenger seat.

Now for the part not related to this site. Well, kind of relating to my soon-to-be lack of gallery uploads. Being addicted to Monster Hunter like some drug, I was pleased that Capcom finally revealed the exact release dates for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, for Wii U and 3DS. The US date is March 19th, the European date is March 22nd while the Australian date is March 23rd. The game supports USB keyboards and voice chat via a free day-one patch, making the communication possibilities even better than Tri, which used the Wii Speak accessory nobody had. The online cities can also be password-locked so everyone annoyed by dumb randoms invading their city and begging for help in Tri can now finally sigh in relief. And as if that wasn't enough for one day, Capcom also announced the demo to be released on February 21st for both consoles, and also released a trailer complete with silly movie trailer music for those that aren't already hooked to this brilliant series. That was certainly a mouthful.

For those like-minded folks who are also planning to get the Wii U version (and for those who aren't, DOITDOITDOIT), my Nintendo Network ID is simply Neslug, just in case it's of any interest. The game's an absolute BLAST with multiple players, especially when using Blast-element weapons and bombs, harharhar. The EU/UK/AUS and US servers are merged starting April 16th, the same update also adds off-TV play. The Tri servers are scheduled to be closed on April 30th so if you've still got unfinished business in the game that will soon be three years old, there's still time for goodbyes and to persuade people into purchasing the new title. We can never have enough hunters. Ever.
